A Classic Experience

The SouthEastern Chamber United in Business (SECUB), is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Oak Creek and Franklin area. Our mission is to improve, advance and support all business in the community and to maintain SECUB as a community resource for future generations.

SECUB members are businesses, organizations and professional men and women who are concerned with the socio-economic climate of the community. They have joined together to speak as one voice. SECUB backs civic, social and cultural improvements and it develops our community human resources. It organizes creative business leadership to solve community problems and initiate constructive community action.

As cities in the southwest suburbs of Milwaukee, both Oak Creek and Franklin are among the state's fastest growing communities. Oak Creek spans an area of 28.6 square miles and its population for 2003 was estimated at 30,856. Franklin's population estimate for 2003 reached 31,467 in a land area of 34.6 square miles.

The quality of life in each community is excellent. The schools are high quality and provide low student-teacher ratios, and there are numerous local manufacturing and skilled services employers creating a receptive work atmosphere. Parks are everywhere, and excellent, state-of-the-art medical facilities are close by. For those seeking easy country living with quick access to urban conveniences, the communities of Oak Creek and Franklin provide the best of both worlds.
