There are plenty of diversions in Joshua to keep residents and visitors active. Two area lakes provide the location for water sports and activity. Mountain Valley County Club has an 18-hole private golf course, which was designed alongside a large lake. Many other recreational facilities are available in nearby Fort Worth, Cleburne and Burleson. The Joshua School & Public Library has an extensive collection consisting of more than 16,847 books, nearly 300 audio and video materials, and 64 serial subscriptions.
