Chamber of Commerce
The Habersham Chamber of Commerce's stated mission is to serve its members by promoting economic development, agriculture, tourism, quality growth, entrepreneurship and education. The Chamber, by creating a positive business climate, seeks to enhance the quality of life in the area.
The Chamber is involved in a tremendous number of activities that promote and improve the quality of life in the area.
Activities include networking, business referral services, business exposure and publicity, group health insurance discounts, relocation information, tourism marketing, existing industry support, consulting services and educational programs. When you see the Chamber of Commerce logo door sticker or the Chamber plaque at a local business, you can be assured that the business cares about the quality of life in our county. Out-of-towners as well as locals are encouraged to stop by and visit the visitor's centers in Cornelia and in Clarkesville (which is located at the Mauldin House).
The Chamber of Commerce can be reached at 706-778-4654, or visit the Chamber Website - www.habershamchamber.com.
