Rockdale County public school system is comprised of 17 schools.

A well-rounded fine arts program complements academics in the core instructional program. Students in all grades (K-12 as well as pre-kindergarten) are given the opportunity to experience a variety of subjects in addition to the basics of reading, math, science and social studies. Every classroom has a computer that is Internet accessible, and every school has wireless laptops. Closed-circuit television offers opportunities for student-produced news programs, and a variety of software programs allow for dynamic classroom experiences.
